Swamp (marsh) and muddy day love

"In the spring, at the end of the day you should smell like dirt." ~ Margaret Atwood
We took a hike with friends at a local SWAMP MARSH! It was stinky and full of wildlife and we had a ton of fun :)

Baby fish caught by K, a friend in our homeschool group.

ALL of the kids loved the Cattails!

my spring favorite, BLUEBELLS!

We then went to the creek, behind the marsh.  Much nicer!

Huge Grapevine

He decided to climb it (and I ducked down LOW with the camera to make it seem like he was MUCH higher LOL)

Berkeley Springs Farmers Market

You'd never know that right after this sweet shot, he slipped and fell and knocked some sweet lady's plants over, upturning everything she had just bought and causing a huge ruckus!  lol  sorry, sweet lady, he IS 5, ya know? hehehe

THESE sweet ladies.  I don't know what to say other than IF you are EVER in Berkeley Springs for their Farmers Market, eat from their table.  Seriously!  You cannot go wrong! We had the Walnut/date baked Goat Cheese, the Veggie wrap with Corn salsa,  Brownies with fresh whipped cream and strawberries, the roast beef wrapped pickled asparagus, the mini anti-pasto (Zarian's fav!), the roasted baby taters and meat, Parmesan chips, prosciutto wrapped cantelope.  I cannot tell you how much you will LOVE these sweet sweet ladies!  and their food!
