Chalk Pastels
I ended up getting the BIG pack, since we had cousins over for the lesson
Start out with a line. Add a HUGE HARVEST MOON. Add a river.
add some trees, twinkly lights in the far off mountains
and some clouds...
add some really cute kids :)
one boy chose a Teepee in the background
here are the amazing results, different imaginations, brought together in one FUN (and messy, yay!) art class
I love that they each used a different color or tree or background. When it comes to art or science, I say "the messier, the better!" The reasoning behind that insanity is, creativity is messy sometimes. i do not want to stifle that energy because of a little mess. I LOVE the sensory and artistic outlets that "messy art" brings out.

We just recently did our first chalk pastel project, and I had so much fun with it! We'll be doing more soon. I love how your family's came out!
